Overview
Jamison is a small corner that played on the boundary in college, but that won't happen in the NFL. He has all the traits to work as a slot corner, except for some issues with his run defense. There is also the option of moving Jamison back and playing him as a safety with the range he has, but he would need some time to adapt to the change of mindset.
As a rookie, Jamison shouldn't see the field much on defense, but he can be a contributor right away on special teams, primarily as the returner. Jamison is an explosive athlete who often shows that as a returner.
Fit with Broncos
The Denver Broncos are a solid fit for Jamison, as they have K'Waun Williams to start and allow Jamison time to develop. Jamison needs to work on consistency with his technique before starting on defense. As a rookie, he could compete for the returner job for the Broncos.
There is a bit of an issue with Jamison, who works best in zone coverage, and Vance Joseph loves his cover-1 and cover-2 man, with his corners pressing at the line. Jamison would need to develop his technique to hold up in those coverage concepts, but again, Williams allows the Broncos to develop Jamison.
