Broncos vs. Niners: How to Watch Preseason Game 2
Things didn't go swimmingly across the board for the Denver Broncos in last week's preseason opener. However, Sean Payton minimized some of the fan base's glaring concerns that arose from the desert — such as the pass blocking — by stating with quiet confidence that the Broncos coaches will get it fixed.
Saturday night's exhibition road tilt vs. the San Francisco 49ers will provide Broncos fans with the first opportunity to gauge the veracity of Payton's confidence. Preseason Game 2 will feature more snaps from the Broncos' first-team units, including quarterback Russell Wilson, and how the offensive line holds up after a frankly embarrassing debut will be a key storyline to monitor.
Saturday will also offer Broncos Country its first opportunity to see running back Javonte Williams in action since he suffered a multi-ligament knee injury in Week 4 of last season. Coach Payton confirmed that Williams will get up to 10 snaps vs. the Niners.
Payton also said that his first-string units will see "20-24" snaps, which will give us plenty of sample size to measure this roster's progress, and how the starters are assimilating his scheme and forging chemistry together.
Broncos fans will want to make sure to catch the action, so with that said, let's break down how you can make sure to catch Saturday night's action in the Bay.
