Broncos Announce Signing of C Kyle Fuller
The Denver Broncos have officially signed free-agent center Kyle Fuller, the team announced Monday, more than a week after the transaction was first reported.
A 2017 seventh-round pick, Fuller spent his rookie campaign with the Houston Texans and the following year in Washington. He played the last four seasons with the Seahawks, starting nine games in 2021 — and snapping to now-Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson.
Collegiately, the 6-foot-5, 320-pound blocker contributed 52 games (39 starts) at Baylor, developing into an interior anchor for one of the nation's top rushing attacks.
"Fuller was a rock in the middle of the Bears' offensive line," NFL.com's Lance Zierlein said in his pre-draft scouting profile. "He started his final 39 games in the pivot, going from honorable mention All-Big 12 honors in 2014 to second-team all-conference in 2015 and first-team notice as a senior. Even in his redshirt freshman season of 2013, Fuller lined up on the offensive line in nine of his 13 games played."
Fuller, 29, joins sophomore Luke Wattenberg on Denver's depth chart and could provide competition for the starting center job currently (read: tentatively) occupied by fourth-year man Lloyd Cushenberry.
"We see him as our starting center," head coach Sean Payton said of Cushenberry last month.
