Continuing a massive offseason spending spree, the Denver Broncos on Thursday signed former Kansas City Chiefs pass-rusher Frank Clark, The Score's Jordan Schultz first reported.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Clark inked a one-year deal worth up to $7.5 million. He receives a $5.5 million guaranteed base salary, with $1 million in "makeable" incentives and another $1 million in "challenging" incentives.

A 2015 second-round pick, Clark spent his first four seasons in Seattle — teammates with quarterback Russell Wilson — and the last four years in Kansas City, earning three Pro Bowl selections and winning two Super Bowl titles.

The ex-Michigan standout, who turns 30 on Wednesday, has notched 263 combined tackles (180 solo), 67 tackles for loss, 131 quarterback hits, 58.5 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, and 13 pass deflections across 120 career games, including 88 starts.

According to Pro Football Focus, Clark tallied the ninth-best coverage rating (81.3) among 119 qualifying defensive ends in 2022. He also ranks third all-time in postseason sacks (13.5).

Clark will provide immediate production in Denver's pass-rushing corps and insurance behind presumed starting OLB Baron Browning, who recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a partially torn meniscus.
