The Broncos Have two Obvious Candidates to Make Available Ahead of Trade Deadline
Going into Thursday night's game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos were riding high and had a chance to get right back into the Division hunt with a win.
Instead, the Broncos put up a showing that was one of the most embarrassing losses in the team’s regular-season history. It was a pitiful performance that saw multiple players give up early on in the game.
If anyone thought this was a team that could compete this year before that game, then all of those thoughts are likely dismissed. The Broncos aren't a good team and they're 'lacking talent all across the roster.
There are ways to help get that talent, and one of them is by trading players who are not in the team's future plans for draft picks. There are multiple players on the Broncos roster the team should make available.
With so many players set to be free agents after this year, and with a few young players that have seen themselves get benched, it is very easy to justify the Broncos having a firesale from their roster.
However, some of these personnel pieces should play a part in the future. In the video above, I highlight the two names the Broncos need to make available.
These veterans have been valuable to the Broncos when they were a competitive team, and now they can be of value on the trade market. Will GM John Elway and the Broncos make any moves prior to the upcoming October 29th trade deadline? Only time will tell.
While a firesale isn’t to be expected, it is possible they make a move or two. Are you ready to see these vets get shipped off in exchange for draft capital? Tell me in the comment section below.
