Browns Announce Players Ruled Out for Kansas City
In an injury update provided by the team this evening the Cleveland Browns confirmed the players who would be held out of the preseason finale in Kansas City. The game is scheduled for a 1 pm kickoff on Saturday from Arrowhead Stadium.
The following players will be out with their injuries or medical condition:
RB- Jerome Ford (hamstring)
WR- Marquise Goodwin (blood clots)
TE- Harrison Bryant (undisclosed)
OL- Wes Martin (concussion)
WR- Anthony Schwartz (hamstring)
DE- Alex Wright (knee)
DE- Isaiah Thomas (knee)
It appears that right tackle Jack Conklin has been cleared from the concussion protocol and will be able to go in this one. It is to be determined if we will see players like Myles Garrett, Joel Bitonio and Nick Chubb but Denzel Ward told the team's radio team that he expects to play.
The team is still down some key players for this one but overall we have to feel good overall about the health of the team heading into the regular season. We should receive some clarity after the team cuts down the roster to 53 players by 4 pm on Tuesday, August 29th.
