Browns' Deshaun Watson Career Record vs. Lamar Jackson

Believe it or not, Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson have only faced each other three times. Watson's career record is 1-2, but you will definitely remember the one victory.

It is hard to believe that Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson have only faced off against each other three times in their careers — they were both quarterbacks in the ACC, and both have been great early in their NFL careers, yet the two haven't seen much of each other.

Surprisingly enough, Deshaun Watson has only played the Ravens three times in his career. the most recent one was in a wintery wonderland on the shores of Lake Erie where the Browns got an ugly 13-3 victory over the Tyler Huntley Ravens.

When Watson and Jackson do face off, the advantage goes toJackson. Jackson and is 2-1 against Watson, and neither game has been particularly close.

The first time in 2019, the Texans got thumped by the Ravens 41-7 in a total blowout. In 2020, the Ravens pulled away for a 33-16 victory over Watson's Texans

So when did Deshaun get his victory over Lamar Jackson? To find that, we have to go back seven years to 2016 when the No. 3 Louisville Cardinals traveled to Clemson to take on the No. 5 ranked Tigers.

Both of these players had some of the best games of their careers. Jackson finished the game 27-for-44 with 295 yards, one touchdown and one interception and also carried the ball 31 times for 162 yards and two touchdowns. Video game numbers.

On the other side, Watson finished 20-for-31, 306 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. He also carried it 14 times for 91 yards.

Combined, these two accounted for an astounding 854 yards and eight touchdowns.

The night belonged to Clemson as the Tigers escaped with a 42-36 victory in an instant classic.

While I don't think Sunday will look anything like that October night in 2016, every time these two meet up it is fireworks for the three hours that they compete. This week in Baltimore will be no different.
