The Browns have elevated RB Jordan Wilkins and OT Ty Nsekhe from their practice squad ahead of their matchup against the Seahawks, and both players could potentially see a role on the field in the Week 8 game in Seattle.

Wilkins, who has played in 54 career games, would be the Browns’ third-string running back if Jerome Ford (ankle) is ruled out of the game. He was ruled questionable after he suffered his injury last week.

The Browns signed Wilkins on Wednesday to their practice squad. He last played with the Colts in 2022, tallying 13 carries for 58 yards. He’s averaged 4.9 yards per carry over his career and has four rushing touchdowns.

Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong Jr. would be the lead backs in front of Wilkins if Ford is unable to play.

Nsekhe, meanwhile, would become a backup tackle option for the Browns if LT Jedrick Wills Jr. (foot, ankle) is unable to play. Wills was also ruled questionable for the game and was a limited participant in Wednesday and Friday’s practice. He didn’t practice at all, though, on Thursday.

Nsekhe is a 10th-year veteran who has appeared in 104 games, including 25 starts between the Rams, Commanders, Bills, Cowboys and Browns. He last played for the Browns in Week 3 against the Titans, logging five snaps on special teams.

If Wills is unable to play, third-year tackle James Hudson III would likely be the starter, with Nsekhe serving as the backup to both him and RT Dawand Jones.
