Browns Give Charley Hughlett Largest Long Snapper Contract Ever

Cleveland Browns long snapper Charley Hughlett received a nice contract before the weekend.
In this story:

Cleveland Browns gave a large extension on Friday to their long snapper. Longtime long snapper Charley Hughlett received a four-year extension, the largest for his position ever. The move was first reported by his agent Brett Tessler. The extension is expected to come with a $865,000 signing bonus and $1.9 million guaranteed.

According to Tessler, the contract comes with the largest signing bonus, guarantee, and overall value in league history for a long snapper. Today is a good day for Hughlett, to say the least.

Hughlett is in his eighth year as the Browns’ long snapper. He has never missed a game, has a forced fumble, and 18 tackles to his resume.
