Browns Missing Three Starters at Wednesday Practice Before Dolphins Game

The Cleveland Browns are practicing without some key players on Wednesday with just a couple days left before they leave for Miami.
In this story:

Following the bye week, the Cleveland Browns hope to be a bit healthier heading into the Miami Dolphins game. It’s a road game, so traveling could be a factor for some injured players.

The following players did not practice today:

CB Martin Emerson Jr. (Illness)

TE David Njoku (ankle)

LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (knee)

DT Perrion Winfrey (illness)

Barring it being a serious illness, it’s fair to expect both of the rookies will play against the Dolphins. Both Njoku and Koramoah missed the last game against the Bengals due to their injuries.

The speed at linebacker will help the Browns’ cause on Sunday, so getting their second-year man in Koramoah back would be a start.

Njoku jumped out to one of the hottest starts for a tight end this year but suffered a sprained ankle that forced him to miss the game against Cincinnati. Whether or not he practices later in the week may tell if he will play or not.
