Browns Tight End David Njoku Calls Out Doubters, Including One NFL Network Analyst

The Browns clinched the playoffs for the first time since 2020 and David Njoku didn't mince words in calling out those who doubted Cleveland this season
In this story:

David Njoku is playing some of the best football in his career. Since Week 14 he ranks second among all players with 373 receiving yards and he also has added four touchdowns in that span.

As of today, he is fourth in the league among tight ends with 882 receiving yards, just 109 yards away from George Kittle's league-leading 991 yards.

Njoku has been a force all year for Cleveland and is a huge reason why this team is where is going to the playoffs for the second time in four season. His performance on Thursday Night was one of his best as he racked up six catches for 134 yards. 113 of those yards came in the first quarter where he was completely unstoppable.

Before Njoku was caught on video taking postgame shots with fans in celebration of the team's looming playoff run, he delivered and electric interview in the locker room, taking a shot at those who doubted Cleveland this season. That included calling out an NFL Network pundit by name.

Njoku didn't mince words when talking about Adam Rank, who controversially predicted the Browns go 6-11 in one of the most inaccurate season predictions that you will ever see. He said,

"When everyone got hurt, everyone doubted us and said we weren't going to do whatever. There's a guy, Adam Rank, that guy sucks... We hold our own fate. We pushed through, and the guys in the locker room should be proud of that."

He laughed through it but this team heard the noise. They're keeping receipts of anyone who thought they're season over at various points throughout the season or even before it started back in August.

They heard it all but they're off to the playoffs anyway.
