Browns vs Ravens Keys to Victory

The Browns have an opportunity to get back into the conversation to be the AFC North Champion. Here are three keys to victory if the Browns want to pull off the upset in Baltimore.
In this story:

There has never been a year when one single division got each one of its members into the playoffs. As we sit here in Week 10, the AFC North has a chance to do just that.

The North has three teams that are widely regarded to be inside the Top 10 in all of the NFL. The Ravens are playing at a level where they are in the conversation to be one the best teams in the league, Cincinnati has fixed all of their problems and Cleveland is turning the corner on their season.

With eight weeks remaining, there are a ton of scenarios that could come true - Sunday in Baltimore will write a lot of that story.

If the Ravens get a win they grab a stranglehold on the North and it will be really hard for anyone to chase them down.

If the Browns can steal a victory Sunday, they set themselves up with an incredible opportunity to get back in the conversation to win the division.

What must the Browns do Sunday afternoon to get the victory?

1. No Turnovers

This has to be the number one thing on everyone's mind. Stefanski needs to call a safe game that helps his quarterback and protects his two backup tackles. Deshaun Watson needs to keep the ball out of danger and when he is getting sacked or running the ball, he needs to tuck that ball tight.

If the Browns offense does not turn the ball over they will have a chance.

2. Limit the Big Play

The Browns are not going to totally stop the Ravens' offense but they must limit the big plays. Lamar Jackson is such a special talent and he has the ability to throw it over you or run it pass you. The Cleveland defense must limit the big plays and try to force them into field goals and not touchdowns.

3. Clean Special Teams Play

Cory Bojorquez and Dustin Hopkins have been elite this year. They need to have another great day today so Cleveland can control field position and put up points as much as possible.

It will not be easy for Cleveland to get the win but there is definitely a path. Accomplishing these three things will be the first step in getting the win.
