Browns Will Open Up Training Camp This Summer At Familiar Venue

General Manager Andrew Berry announced two updates to the Browns training camp plans at the NFL Combine, including a return trip to the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia.

As the old saying goes, why mess with a good thing?

After making the playoffs in 2023, the Browns aren't messing with their training setup from last season. Speaking with the media at the NFL Combine, Browns GM Andrew Berry shared the team's plans to once again open up training camp at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

Not only that, but Berry revealed the team's plans to host the Minnesota Vikings for joint practices in Berea as well.

"We will be going back to the Greenbrier," Berry said. "We will be doing joint [practices] with the Minnesota Vikings, they'll be coming to us."

Last summer, the Browns spent 10 days at the famous Greenbrier Resort at the start of training camp, holding practices between July 22-30 before opening up the preseason with an appearance in the Hall of Fame Game. This year Cleveland won't be playing that extra exhibition contest, but hope to replicate their team building exercise regardless.

Numerous Browns players cited the Greenbrier trip as a catalyst for the team's infectious togetherness that seemed to fuel them through an adverse season.

Cleveland also partook in joint practices last summer, traveling to Philadelphia to collide with the Eagles for a few days before a preseason meeting. This year the Browns will get to stay home and welcome Minnesota to the CrossCountry Campus in Berea.

This will be the fourth consecutive year that the Browns will participate in joint practices. They last hosted the sessions in 2022 when Philly traveled to Northeast Ohio. Cleveland previously hosted the Giants for joint practices as well in 2021.
