Chris Hubbard, Devaroe Lawrence return to practice, everyone else continues to be out

As the Cleveland Browns took the practice field Thursday, right tackle Chris Hubbard was able to get back on the field after missing the game against the Los Angeles Rams with injury. Devaroe Lawrence was also back, though he missed Wednesday for a personal matter.
Denzel Ward, Greedy Williams, Morgan Burnett, Rashard Higgins and Sheldrick Redwine were all working on the side of practice. Higgins, dealing with a knee injury, has been called day to day and had actually previously participated in practices on a limited basis. It's not clear if he's suffered a setback or the medical staff basically made the determination the only way it will improve is rest.
Ward and Williams are dealing with the ever nebulous hamstring, so they could be back tomorrow or out for a while. The hope is the team is opting for rest now, hoping to have them back on Sunday, particularly as the Browns get set to take on the Baltimore Ravens and rookie speedster Marquise Brown.
Morgan Burnett's quad is another injury that could mean a lot of things. The Browns really need better play out of the strong safety position as Jermaine Whitehead has been a liability on defense, both due to his inability to make plays and his inability to avoid incredibly stupid personal foul penalties.
The lack of movement from a roster standpoint and the fact the Browns still carry 12 defensive backs may be a dubious indicator of where the Browns feel their injured defensive backs are in their recovery.
