Deshaun Watson Won't Return to Practice Wednesday

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson did not practice Wednesday

Deshaun Watson said Wednesday that "the arrow has been pointing up" on the recovery of his shoulder injury, but he has yet to make an official return to practice.

Watson will not practice Wednesday, according to the Browns, due to the shouIder injury he suffered in Week 3. He was injured at some point in the second half of the 27-3 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. That was Watson's best performance as a Brown as he completed 27-of-33 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns.

It felt like he finally turned a corner and was working his way back to his former self. That was until he was a game-time scratch in week 4 versus Baltimore and was ruled out last week against San Francisco.

The Browns were able to split the two games that he did not play and seem to have built up a ton of momentum going into a critical stretch of the year.

Watson spent the first four years of his career in the same division as the Indianapolis Colts and faced off with them twice a year. In those four years, he compiled some gaudy numbers at Lucas Oil Stadium.

He has averaged 352 yards per game on 72.3 percent completion for five touchdowns against two interceptions. It is safe to say he likes playing in Indianapolis.

Watson, however, was unsure if he'd be able to return for Week 7 when he spoke with media Wednesday before practice.

“It could be any day,” he said. “It could be tomorrow. It could be Sunday. It could be two weeks from now. I’m not sure. I can’t put a timeline on anything right now.”
