The Cleveland Browns have placed David Njoku on injured reserve with his wrist injury, which likely means it will require surgery. He will probably be designated to return, which would put him back in time for the first Pittsburgh Steelers matchup. The Browns signed Juston Burris to take his roster spot, help the secondary, which is currently battered.

Njoku is a big loss at a position that that's thin already, leaving Demetrius Harris, Pharaoh Brown and Ricky Seals-Jones to fill the void.

Juston Burris knows the Browns system, was with the team up until the day after initial cut downs and then was waived. The Browns may be without their entire starting secondary for their game against the Los Angeles Rams, so Burris will likely suit up on Sunday. The Browns currently have 12 defensive backs in all.

It's only week three, but the Browns are limping in to this game with a loaded injury report. Freddie Kitchens has not lowered his expectations despite all of the injuries. The Browns do have a ton of depth in the secondary, which will be tested this week against one of the better receiving trios in the NFL.

Hopefully when Njoku does come back, he'll be able to help the Browns beat the Steelers twice in that three week stretch.
