The Cleveland Browns had a vacancy on their practice squad after elevating Elijah McGuire to the active roster when they placed Drew Stanton on injured reserve, so they've opted to fill it with former Ohio State offensive lineman Malcolm Pridgeon.

OL Malcolm Pridgeon

Height: 6-6
Weight: 322 lbs
40 Yard Dash: 5.43s
Broad Jump: 8'7″
Vertical: 25.5
3-Cone: 7.96s
Shuttle: 4.84s
Bench: 23 bench reps

The Browns might like Pridgeon, but at least in the immediate, it seems like he may be in Berea to play the role of Los Angeles Rams right tackle Rob Havenstein, who has the same type of size as Pridgeon.

Pridgeon is a limited athlete in terms of his speed and movement skills, profiles better to guard in terms of the longterm and specifically right guard, but obviously brings a ton of size. The Browns will get a look at him, but it wouldn't be a surprise if he's gone in a week in favor of someone else as he doesn't seem like a good fit for the type of lineman that offensive line coach James Campen tends to target.

Nevertheless, Pridgeon could help the Browns get ready for the Rams on a short week, coming off of the Monday night game and getting ready for Sunday Night Football this week.
