Deshaun Watson Believes That The 2024 Cleveland Browns Have “Everything” To Win a Super Bowl

The Cleveland Browns roster is locked and loaded for the 2024 season, if they get just solid quarterback play, this team is built for a playoff run.
In this story:

The Cleveland Browns got the 2024 offseason off to a very good start. They traded for speedster Jerry Jeudy, filled their roster with depth pieces and added Mike Vrabel to their coaching staff. The team appears to be set up for success in 2024.

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson on his podcast “QB Unplugged” expressed where he believes this franchise is at currently.

“We got the defense, we got the offense, we got the special teams, we got the culture, we got the fanbases, we got everything to do it.”

Of course, the “it” here is in reference to the Super Bowl and Watson is right. The Browns just reloaded their roster from last year, won 11 games and made the playoffs even with all of their injury issues.

At the end of the day, the roster is ready-made, it is just going to come down to quarterback play. When Watson is available he has been good, not great, but the Browns are winning with him. He posted a 5-1 record last year that was capped off with an improbable and incredible comeback victory in Baltimore.

However, a player’s best ability is his availability and Watson has been largely unavailable for his two seasons in Cleveland. He has played just 11 games for the Browns after missing time in 2022 with his suspension. Then in 2023, breaking his shoulder caused him to miss 11 more games.

If Cleveland can stay relatively healthy, get solid quarterback play and keep Watson on the field, then this team is ready to make some noise in the 2024 season.
