Draft Prospect T'Vondre Sweat In Ohio Visiting The Browns Ahead Of The NFL Draft

The Browns could target a defensive lineman in this month's NFL Draft and former Texas Longhorn T'Vondre Sweat is reportedly on their radar.

T'Vondre Sweat's calling card is his size. Sweat stands at 6'4" and tips the scale at an incredible 366 pounds. What makes Sweat stand out amongst his peers is that he is incredibly athletic even for his size.

Not only does his tape tend to impress, but he also turned heads due to his measurables at the combine. When he lines up on defense, he requires at least a double team to just stop his momentum. Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorn coaching staff didn't stop there, even finding a place for him on the offensive side of the football. He sometimes lined up in the backfield, being used as a lead blocker or as a receiving back.

When the Browns are up at pick number 54, defensive line could absolutely be a position that they look to address.

On Tuesday, Sweat posted on Instagram that he was in Westlake, Ohio, a far cry from his hometown of Huntsville, Texas. While a visit to the Browns facility is unconfirmed at this point, a pre-draft visit in Berea would give a good explanation as to why the future NFL defensive lineman was hanging out on Cleveland's west side.

Sweat is projected by many to be a day two pick and may even be a slight reach for Cleveland to select him at 54. It would not be out of the question for Cleveland to trade back, acquire more draft assets and select Sweat between picks 60 and 75.

With that said, Cleveland is in a very advantageous spot because their roster is almost set. They can be very aggressive in picking the best player available. If that is Sweat, he would be yet another welcomed addition to the Cleveland defensive line.
