Former Browns QB Baker Mayfield Leads Los Angeles Rams to Game Winning Drive

The former No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield made his Los Angeles Rams debut, his third team in the NFL.

If you would have said a year ago that Baker Mayfield would lead the Los Angeles Rams to a win in 2023 people would think you were crazy. That indeed did happen as Mayfield debuted against the Las Vegas Raiders just a couple of days after being claimed by the Rams.

In his debut, Mayfield connected with Van Jefferson from 23 yards out to take a 17-16 lead on the Raiders. The go route was connected with a nice touch on the football.

Mayfield finished the game 22-of-35 passing for 232 yards and a score. The future of Mayfield has question makes on where he may end up playing. If he can continue to play like tonight, perhaps it's in Los Angeles.
