Peyton Hillis is in critical condition after an act of bravery during a swimming accident.

Peyton Hillis, the former Cleveland Browns running back, remains unconscious after a swimming accident where he saved his children from drowning in Pensacola, Florida. As we shared last night, Hillis remains in critical condition after the accident.

KNWA Fox 24 confirmed that Hillis had to be taken by helicopter to the hospital, which tells you the extreme nature of his health.

The family of Hillis asks for prayers for a speedy recovery for former Arkansas running back.

Hillis is known for being a tough-nosed running back that lowered his shoulder for extra yards. His latest activity was a heroic act that saved the lives of his children.
