We had known earlier in the day that rookie defensive tackle Siaki Ika would not be practicing as he was spotted in the locker room with a walking-boot on his right foot. Jed Wills who had X-rays taken after Sunday's game was again listed as limited in practice with a foot injury. The veteran group of Myles Garrett, Joel Bitonio, Amari Cooper and Anthony Walker all returned to practice on Friday after getting an extra day of rest on Thursday.

On the Pittsburgh side, the team is already down two key starters after placing Cam Heyward on injured reserve and Diontae Johnson being ruled out with a hamstring injury. They may still be without two others. Starting offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor is still in the concussion protocol and would need to be cleared. After practicing yesterday Larry Ogunjobi was held out of practice today for the Steelers.
