Kareem Hunt "Mic'd Up" During the Browns Comeback Win Over the Bears

Cleveland's own Kareem Hunt was mic'd up on Sunday and as you could imagine, he was bringing the energy all game long.
In this story:

Kareem Hunt has had one heck of a year. It started, like many of our now key contributors, not on the Cleveland Browns.

Since his return to the orange and brown, he has been a welcome piece of the puzzle and one of the most valuable offensive players.

On Sunday against Chicago, he was mic'd up, and it was awesome.

Kareem's season hasn't been much from a statistical perspective but his value has been off the charts. On his 118 carries, Hunt has 369 yards good for just over three yards per carry.

However, with his limited carries and his limited yards, he has seven touchdowns on the year which is tied for the 11th best in all of the NFL. He shares that 11th spot with guys the likes of Kenneth Walker III, De'Von Achane and Jahmyr Gibbs who each have double the yards the Hunt has.

Furthermore, he has 34 rushes resulting in first downs. Not only is he converting a first down on 28 percent of his carries, he has been clutch when called upon.

He has had his number called 25 times on third or fourth down and has 17 first downs in those scenarios. He is five-for-five when being handed the ball on fourth down and converting it to a first down. On "money downs", he converts at 68 percent.

Ever since Nick Chubb went down, Kareem has been everything that this team needed. He is a good compliment to Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr. and when the chips are down, the Browns rely on No. 27 to make something happen, and he does.

Kareem Hunt is a perfect example of this Browns' culture that is on the cusp of another playoff appearance.
