Kareem Hunt Punches It In, Cutting the Browns Deficit to Seven
The Browns found themselves trailing 24-9 after former Brown Odell Beckham Jr. took a 40-yarder to the house.
The game was in the balance and the Browns responded with one of their better drives of the season. They had a couple of chunk completions, a couple of tough 3rd down conversions and they found themselves in the redzone.
After a completion to get it to 3rd and two from the 3-yard line, it was Kareem Hunt's turn. Deshaun Watson turned over his right shoulder, handed it to Kareem and Hunt did the rest.
Just as he always does he dodged a couple of defenders and punished anyone in his way. With authority he forced his way across the goalline and into the endzone, cutting the Ravens lead to 24-15.
With the extra point not really meaning anything, the Browns kept the offense back on the field. They dialed up a play to try and get Njoku an easy completion or find Amari Cooper coming across the middle. Neither were open and Deshaun Watson tucked the ball down and took off.
He crossed the goalline to complete the two-point conversion and made it a one-possession game.
Kareem Hunt has been spectacular this year for the Browns. While he only has 196 yards on 60 carries this year, he has found paydirt six times and once in five straight games.
The complement of Hunt, Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr. has done their best to make up for the hole caused by Nick Chubb's injury.
To the fourth quarter we go, Browns trail the Ravens 24-17 with the football.
