Marcus Mosher redrafts entire league, two Browns foundation pieces go high

Marcus Mosher redrafted the entire NFL with a few rules and while his subjects are up to debate, it doesn't change one simple fact. Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett are very talented and incredibly valuable, which is why the Cleveland Browns have the potential they do.

Marcus Mosher is a many of many titles and jobs; host of Locked on Cowboys, managing editor for Raiders Wire, contributor for the Athletic, Bleacher Report, Pro Football Weekly and Gambling.com. From his post at Raiders Wire, he redrafted the entire league to give his view of how valuable players are. Mosher ranked Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett, the two biggest foundation pieces for the Cleveland Browns, very highly.

Baker Mayfield, he had as the second overall pick. Even though Mosher suggests he might be a year or two early, he'd still finish very highly and this is an acknowledgement of just how valuable an asset Mayfield is. A quarterback entering the second year of his rookie deal and the expectations are that he will outperform what was an incredible rookie campaign.

Myles Garrett doesn't go until the 19th pick of the draft, but 17 of those picks were quarterbacks. The only non-defensive player to go higher was the incomparable Aaron Donald. So out of every single position player in the entire NFL, Mosher has Garrett as the second most valuable.

Wherever people come down on just how good Mayfield is right now relative to the path he's on and just how valuable that is, it's really difficult to argue against this point on Garrett. He plays a premier position and he's phenomenal at it, only entering his third year with the potential to be as good as anyone to ever do it. Garrett is the prototype, not only from a physical standpoint, but in terms of what you could want in a person, which is what makes him so unique and special.

This was only the first round and more appear to be coming shortly, but much of the reason the Browns are where they are is because of the presence of Mayfield and Garrett. The Browns would still have a good amount of talent on their roster, but without those two players, it dramatically shifts where this team can go.
