Do you think that long-term San Francisco has the secondary to make a Super Bowl Run?

This secondary is an underrated group. They are really good at the cornerback position and their safety group is strong with the Veteran Tashaun Gipson Sr. and a young All-Pro Talanoa Hufanga.

Which part of this 49ers team has surprised you in the way that they have performed?

The Defense. Steve Wilks came in and has adjusted his system to fit the strengths of the players on the defense. They fixed their two biggest issues in dealing with mobile quarterbacks and stopping big plays.

Do you think that Brock Purdy is the solution and when did you realize that he could play at this efficient level?

With this team and this situation, he is the perfect fit. At a certain point, you have to say that this is not a fluke.

What does it look like when Christian McCaffery is at his absolute best?

He can be everything that you want a running back to be. When he is at his absolute best, his mentality is what separates him. He goes out on the field trying to prove that he is the best running back in the league.

What is the biggest hurdle that the 49ers face moving forward?

It all goes back to Kyle Shanahan. Can he manage his players and get them through the year healthy? Can he show up in the big game? This team has all of the pieces, can Kyle keep this team from derailing themselves?

The Browns and 49ers kickoff Sunday at 1:00 pm EST at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
