Rex Ryan: "Why Can't The Browns Win It All?"

ESPN's 'Get Up' broke down the Browns win over Baltimore on Monday and debated their chances of being a contender
In this story:

Deshaun Watson was incredible in the second half of the Browns win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. He was everything that this team needed and everything that they thought they traded for.

Sitting at 6-3 and 2-2 in the AFC North, Cleveland has a legitimate chance to win the AFC North and potentially even grab a top seed in the AFC Playoffs.

Naturally, the upset win has the Browns into the nationally limelight on morning morning and ESPN's 'Get Up' crew had the first crack at analyzing them.

Show host Mike Greenberg, posed a question to the likes of Dan Orlovsky, Rex Ryan and Tedy Bruschi, asking if the Browns were legitimate Suer Bowl contenders, but also if Deshaun Watson has showed signs that he will get back to the quarterback he was in Houston?

Orlovsky was up first. He had this to say in reference to Deshaun's play,

"Signs, yes. Not consistently. Is he playing well enough for them to be legit Super Bowl contenders? Not yet."

It's impossible to understand the nuance of his answer without listening to the clip. It was meant to be complimentary by Orlovsky, who was saying that Watson is on the right path, but still has work to do.

Next up was Rex Ryan who very well could be an honorary member of the Dawg Pound after his response.

"Two or three weeks ago I said that Cleveland was my pick in this division, I still ride it. I believe in Deshaun Watson... This dude right here. If he plays the way Deshaun Watson is capable of playing with the defense, why the hell can't they win it all?"

While Ryan has always been a bit of a character, however in this instance Browns fans will probably let his antics slide. Watson wasn't perfect in Sunday's win over the Ravens, but he is starting to look the part. If he continues to improve, perhaps Ryan's intuition could come to fruition.
