Two Cleveland Browns Starters Out of Practice on Wednesday Ahead of Steelers Game

Denzel Ward and Jack Conklin were not participants in practice today.
In this story:

Cleveland Browns may be down a pair of starters in their season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers. On Wednesday, cornerback Denzel Ward and right tackle Jack Conklin did not practice. Head coach Kevin Stefanski previously said the players would be monitored.

Ward is dealing with a shoulder injury as he comes off a game against the Washington Commanders where he had his third interception. The Browns' top cornerback is playing much better in the back half of the season.

Conklin is dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered against the Commanders before James Hudson replaced him. If Conklin has to end his season early, expect Hudson to be serviceable.

It will be interesting to see if these two players can give it a go against Pittsburgh on Sunday.
