Week 15 AFC Power Rankings

There is one month left in the NFL season and week 13 was a pivotal one around the NFL. Let's see where each team lands in this week's AFC Power Rankings
In this story:

Week 13 ended up being incredibly entertaining from top to bottom. There were a couple of marquee matchups between teams at the top of the conference, there were some upsets and there was drama throughout. Here are the AFC Power Rankings heading into Week 14.

16. New England Patriots (3-10)

What a win for New England in Pittsburgh on Thursday Night! The Patriots went up to Heinz Field and did what they normally do, beat the Steelers. Bill Belichick is now 10-3 against Mike Tomlin. The Patriots showed some life under Bailey Zappe and will look to build confidence in the last four games.

15. Las Vegas Raiders (5-8)

The Raiders were on the short end of the lowest-scoring game ever played indoors and on turf. They fell to the Vikings three-to-zero. It feels like the magic from their interim head coach Antonio Pierce is completely gone and the Raiders are left searching for anything positive.

14. Los Angeles Chargers (5-8)

Everything has gone wrong for the Chargers. They have experienced some significant injuries on their roster and now will be without Justin Herbert for the rest of the year. January 7th can't come soon enough in LA.

13. New York Jets (5-8)

The Jets had one of their best performances of the year on Sunday and they may have a guy in Zach Wilson. All jokes aside, Sunday was a positive spot in an otherwise rough season in New York.

12. Tennessee Titans (5-8)

Tennessee had one of the most improbable victories of the season and in the history of the NFL. Trailing by 14 with 2:55 left in the game, they would 15 points in the final 175 seconds and beat the top-seed Dolphins by one. An incredible victory that throws a wrench in all of the AFC.

11. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6)

The Steelers have lost two straight games to teams that are a combined six-and-20 on the season. They fell to the lowly Patriots and while they are still in the playoff picture, the wheels are starting to fall off in Pittsburgh.

10. Houston Texans (7-6)

CJ Stroud and Tank Dell left their game in New York with injuries which they ended up losing 30-6. If Stroud's concussion forces him to miss time, the Cinderella story in Houston may be up. But, the future is bright for the Texans.

9. Indianapolis Colts (7-6)

The Colts had a chance to move into a tie for first place in the AFC South, instead, they got stomped by the Bengals. Their 34-14 loss was not what they were looking for in a critical AFC matchup.

8. Denver Broncos (7-6)

The Broncos got a massive win out in Los Angeles by dismantling the injured Chargers. Don't look now but the Broncos are just one game behind the Chiefs for the top spot in the AFC West.

7. Cincinnati Bengals (7-6)

The Bengals are showing a ton of heart. They are down their signal caller and MVP candidate Joe Burrow but it doesn't matter. They are on a two-game win streak and are playing their way into legit playoff contention.

6. Buffalo Bills (7-6)

The Bills had a signature, yet controversial victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. They are on the outside looking in for the playoffs as they don't have any tiebreakers. Yet, this Bills team is not one that anyone wants to see in round one of the playoffs. For what it's worth, offsides was the right call.

5. Miami Dolphins (9-4)

The Dolphins are yet to beat a team with a winning record so far this season. They had a historic collapse on Monday Night against the Tennessee Titans but what was more concerning was that their offense looks broken. They needed a pick-six, a muffed punt on the four and a fumbled pitch in the redzone to score 28 points. Something doesn't look right in Miami.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-5)

The Jaguars went up to Cleveland and couldn't get the job done. While Trevor Lawrence was allegedly injured coming into the game, he appeared quite healthy on Sunday. That didn't stop him from throwing three interceptions and not playing his best against the Browns.

3. Cleveland Browns (8-5)

The story of the 2023 Cleveland Browns has been incredible. They have now lost eight different players to season-ending injuries and will have to continue manufacturing different ways to win. They have four winnable games left on their schedule and winning the AFC North isn't off the table.

2. Kansas City Chiefs (8-5)

The Chiefs had a heartbreaking loss on Sunday that made their path to the one seed very hard for the rest of the season. They have a real problem at the wide receiver position and one that isn't going to get solved this year. They could have used a win over Buffalo, we'll expect them to line up onsides next week!

1. Baltimore Ravens (10-3)

The rich get richer! The Ravens had a massive walk-off victory against the Rams where they had a walk-off 76-yard punt return in overtime to steal a victory from the Rams. They have a stranglehold on the one seed but have a very tough remaining schedule. We'll see if they can hang on to it!
