The Cleveland Browns will travel to Philadelphia this week for practices against the Philadelphia Eagles. All eyes will be on the starters to see how they measure up against last year's NFC Champions.

In this story:

After losing Friday nights preseason game against the Washington Commanders, 17-15, what is coming up next for the Cleveland Browns?

Today: The players will have an off day after last night's game. At some point we should hear from Head Coach Kevin Stefanski during his media availability. We will hope to receive updates on the injuries from last night which include the following players:

Elijah Moore -ribs

A.J. Green -shoulder

Jacob Phillips - shoulder

Bubba Bolden- hamstring

Keep in mind there could always be additional guys who got banged up that we don't know about yet.

Sunday: The team is scheduled to travel to Philadelphia, for this week's joint practices against the Eagles. For teams like the Browns, joint practices are the most valuable time of the entire preseason. Teams love joint practices because unlike preseason games, where you typically keep your scheme pretty vanilla, you can run the full playbook because the other 30 NFL teams won't have any tape on it.

Monday:  Joint Practice Session 1- The starters from both teams will get most of the reps as teams value the controlled environment of a practice setting. Though you may not see the likes of Myles Garrett and Nick Chubb in the preseason, they will definitely be practicing at full speed against the Eagles on both days.

We can also expect to hear from Coach Stefanski at some point during the day, providing injury updates and his thoughts on how practice will go, or his thoughts on them after.

Tuesday: Joint Practice Session 2- Again it will be much like day one where everything is controlled and there is no contact to the quarterbacks. We will also expect to hear again from Coach Stefanski.

If we didn't have any moments on day one, this is where things can tend to get pretty chippy with the players. After intense competition for two days in the heat, combined with a lot (and I mean a lot) of trash talk, it often results in players letting fists fly and teammates either come in to help fight or help break things up.

These instances happen because there is generally no recourse in these settings. A player doesn't get ejected or fined by the league, however, last year Aaron Donald of the Rams took a lot of heat for swinging his helmet in an altercation during joint practice against the Bengals. He was later handed down an undisclosed disciplinary action from the team.

Wednesday: Should be a very light day for players as maybe they perform a walkthrough with the focus on taking care of their body.

Thursday: Preseason Game 3, Browns vs Eagles

The Browns will play the Eagles in the only game scheduled across the league for Thursday. The game will be televised on NFL Network. You won't see the starters as they have already got their most important work in.

With the team expecting to play starters in the final preseason game against Kansas City, this may be the last opportunity for a lot of guys competing on the bottom of the roster. They will want to put their best foot forward, hoping to catch on with another team if they don't make the Browns.
