Tampa Bay Buccaneers Trail the San Francisco 49ers 27-14: 4Q Live Game Updates

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to the West Coast and Santa Clara to take on the San Francisco 49ers.

PREGAME:

- Bucs Inactives: G Matt Feiler, OLB Cam Gill, S Ryan Neal, RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn, TE David Wells, QB John Wolford

- 49ers Inactives: QB Brandon Allen, TE Brayden Willis, DL Kalia Davis, LB Jalen Graham, RB Tyrion Davis-Price, OL Aaron Banks

FIRST QUARTER:

- The Buccaneers win the coin toss and defer to the second half.

- Purdy finds George Kittle over the middle for a gain of 24-yards.

- Lavonte David comes away with a sack on Brock Purdy for a loss of 11 yards. 49ers will punt.

- The 49ers interfere with Thompkins while he is trying to fair catch the punt and are called for kick catch interference. Bucs will take over at their own 37-yard line.

- The Bucs fail to pick up a first down and their first drive will end in a punt.

- Purdy finds Deebo Samuel for a gain of 15 yards.

- Vita Vea comes away with the Bucs' second sack of the day on Purdy.

- Purdy finds McCaffrey for a gain of 11 and a first down.

- Jamel Dean is flagged for a defensive holding call and is down on the play, but able to walk off the field under his own power.

- Purdy finds Aiyuk for another first down.

- Brock Purdy finds McCaffrey short for a 4-yard TD. 49ers lead the Buccaneers 7-0.

- The Bucs pick up their first first down of the day with a short pass from Baker to White.

- Mayfield getting the backs involved early finds Chase Edmonds for a gain of 11 yards.

- At the end of the first quarter, the Buccaneers trail the 49ers 7-0.

SECOND QUARTER:

- Back-to-back plays from Trey Palmer give the Bucs a first down.

- Fred Warner drills Baker Mayfield and forces a fumble. The 49ers recover and will take over at their own 35-yard line.

-Elijah Mitchell comes in and immediately rips off a huge gain for the 49ers.

- Purdy finds Aiyuk deep over the middle for a gain of 19 yards.

- Purdy is sacked for the third time today this time by Yaya Diaby.

- Buccaneers get a stop on third down and the 49ers will attempt a FG.

- Moody comes on and connects on a 37-yard FG. 49ers lead the Buccaneers 10-0.

- Mayfield finds Trey Palmer deep right into 49er's territory for a gain of 17 yards.

- Mayfield is sacked by Armstead for a loss of nine yards.

- Baker finds Cade Otton deep for a huge gain of 27 yards. The Bucs are in the redzone at the two minute warning.

- Thompkins for a gain of 17 yards and is pushed out at the 1-yard line.

- Mike Evans comes down with the 1-yard TD grab from Baker and the Bucs cut the lead to three - trailing the 49ers 10-7.

- Purdy finds Aiyuk for a big gain of 37 yards.

- The Buccaneers' defense holds in the redzone and will force San Francisco to kick a FG before half.

- Moody come on for the 28-yard FG and it is good. The 49ers extend their lead over the Bucs 13-7.

- At the half, the Buccaneers trail the 49ers 13-7 and will get the ball to start the second half.

THIRD QUARTER:

- Chris Godwin finally gets involved in the game catching his first pass of the day for 7 yards.

- The Bucs' opening second half drive stalls after a single first down and will be forced to punt the ball and Camarda pins the 49ers deep in their own territory.

- Purdy finds a wide open George Kittle for a gain of 21 yards.

- Purdy goes deep for Brandon Aiyuk and the two connect for a 76-yard TD play. The 49ers extend their lead over the Bucs, leading 20-7. Jamel Dean is down on the play.

- Mayfield finds Mike Evans for a gain of 13 yards and a Bucs' first down.

- McCaffrey finds room on the outside for a gain of 12 yards.

- Kittle reels in a pass from Purdy for a gain of 11 yards and another 49ers first down.

- Jamel Dean is questionable to return to the game with a foot/ankle injury.

- Purdy hits Deebo Samuel for a huge gain of 40 yards.

- Bucs' LB Lavonte David is down and hurt on the play.

- 49ers' S Talanoa Hufanga has been ruled out for the remainder of the game due to a knee injury.

- Purdy finds Kittle in the back of the endzone for another 49ers' touchdown. They lead the Buccaneers 27-7.

- The Buccaneers trail the 49ers at the end of the third quarter 27-7.

FOURTH QUARTER:

- Mayfield completes a big 41-yard pass to rookie Jarrett.

- Fred Warner gets call for the PI and the Bucs are in business at the 1-yard line.

- Rachaad White runs it in from 1-yard out for a touchdown to cut the lead to 27-14.

- Bucs' LB Lavonte David is out for the rest of the game with a groin injury.

- The Buccaneers' defense gets a stop on third down and will take over from their own 20 yard line.

- Mayfield finds Mike Evans for a first down.

- Baker connects with Chris Godwin for an 11-yard gain and another Bucs' first down.

- The Bucs go for it on fourth down and are able to convert as Mayfield finds Mike Evans for a gain of 11 yards.

- The Bucs once again go for it on fourth down but this time are unable to convert as Baker's pass falls incomplete to Mike Evans.

- Yaya Diaby gets into the backfield and sacks Purdy for a loss of 8 yards.

- The Bucs' defense comes up big and forces another stop, forcing the 49ers to punt the ball.

- Deven Thompkins finds some room on the punt return for a a huge 51-yard gain and the Bucs are in business down 13.

- White comes down with a 4-yard catch, but starting T Tristan Wirfs is down on the play. He is able to get off the field under his own power.

- Baker's pass is tipped over the middle and is picked off by the 49ers' Brown in the endzone.

- Purdy runs for a gain of 13-yards and dives for the first down.

- Purdy connects again with Kittle for a gain of 12 yards.

- The Bucs' defense stuffs the McCaffrey run on fourth down and will take over on downs.

- Rachaad White takes a run for 5 yards and we have reached the two minute warning - last stoppage of play as the Bucs are now out of timeouts.

- Mayfield is sacked by Chase Young.

- Baker's Hail Mary attempt falls incomplete. 49ers take over on downs and will go into victory formation.
