Buccaneers-Eagles Live Game Updates: Tampa Bay Defeats Philadelphia 32-9

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in a Wild Card Matchup for the chance to continue on their playoff journey.

PREGAME:

- Bucs Inactives: WR Rakim Jarrett, RB Patrick Laird, OLB Jose Ramirez, LB J.J. Russell, T Brandon Walton, OLB Markees Watts, QB John Wolford

How to Watch Buccaneers vs. Eagles Wild Card: Kickoff Time, TV Channel and Odds

FIRST QUARTER:

- Eagles win the coin toss and have elected to defer. The Buccaneers will receive the opening kickoff.

- Mayfield finds Otton for a gain of 15 yards and a Bucs’ first down.

- Mayfield follows it up with a 21-yard pass to Mike Evans.

- Rachaad finds some room for a gain of 8 yards on first down.

- Rachaad White rips another gain of 7 yards.

- White breaks a tackle behind the yard to gain and gets the first on third down.

- Baker keeps the ball and is able to pick up 6 yards on the scramble.

- Mayfield looks for Otton in the end zone, but the ball is incomplete.

- Mayfield’s third down pass is incomplete to Trey Palmer and the Bucs will have to settle for a FG.

- McLaughlin’s 28-yard FG is Good and the Bucs take a 3-0 lead over the Eagles on their first drive.

- Swift takes the carry for a gain of 9 yards on first down.

- Hurts is pressured by Britt and the ball is tipped at the LOS and falls incomplete. Eagles will punt.

- Mayfield finds David Moore for a gain of 22 yards and a 15 yard facemask penalty moves the Bucs into Eagles’ territory.

- Mayfield finds David Moore for a gain of 44 yards and a Buccaneers touchdown to take a 10-0 lead over the Eagles.

- Yaya Diaby is down after the short gain by Swift but is able to walk off under his own power.

- Hurts’ third down pass is incomplete and the Eagles will once again be forced to punt.

- Edmonds catches the ball out of the backfield from Baker for a gain of 8 yards and a first down.

- Baker finds Cade Otton for a gain of 24 yards and another Bucs’ first down.

- At the end of the first quarter the Bucs lead the Eagles 10-0 as Baker Mayfield walks off the field firing the crowd up.

SECOND QUARTER:

- Mayfield is sacked by Sweat for a loss of 4 yards.

- Baker almost throws an interception, but the ball falls incomplete and the Bucs will attempt a FG.

- McLaughlin’s 54-yard FG is good and the Buccaneers extend their lead over the Eagles 13-0.

- Hurts finds Swift for a large chunk gain of 31 yards.

- Hurts follows it up with another first down gain this time to Smith for 12 yards.

- Bucs bring the house on third down and Hurts’ pass to Smith is incomplete. Eagles will attempt a 47-yard FG.

- Elliot’s attempt is good and the Eagles cut into the Bucs’ lead, 13-3.

- Baker scrambles on third down and is able to pick up the first with a gain of 9 yards.

- Thompkins is able to find room on the outside for a gain of 10 yards and another Bucs’ first down.

- White’s 3rd down run is short, but the Bucs will go for it on fourth down.

- White picks up the fourth down conversion with a gain of 7 yards.

- Mayfield’s third down pass is batted down at the line and falls incomplete. McLaughlin will come on for a 48-yard FG attempt.

- McLaughlin’s 48 yarder is good and the Bucs extend the lead to 16-3.

- Julio Jones makes a catch for an Eagles’ first down.

- Hurts lets one go and finds Devonta Smith for a gain of 55 yards.

- Hurts then finds Goedert for a 5-yards TD to cut into the Buccaneers lead 16-9 after the Eagles go for two and are unsuccessful.

- White takes the carry for a gain of 11 yards and a Bucs’ first down.

- Mayfield finds Cate Otton for a gain of 20 yards and another Bucs’ first down.

- Eagles’ WR Julio Jones is being evaluated for a concussion.

- Mayfield is sacked on third down and the Buccaneers will be forced to punt the ball.

- Gainwell catches Hurts’ pass for a gain of 9 yards and follows it up for a rush for a first down.

- Hurts finds Smith for a gain of 13 yards and another Philly first down. Eagles use their last timeout of the half with 32 seconds remaining with the ball at their own 32.

- Hurts finds Watkins, but the Bucs stop him short and force a fourth and two to end the half.

- Bucs will take a 16-9 lead into the half.

THIRD QUARTER:

- Hurts is sacked by Kancey on third down. Eagles are 0/5 on third down. Eagles will punt.

- Baker finds Otton for a gain of 11 yards and a Bucs’ first down.

- Julio Jones has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

- Baker is sacked on third down and the Buccaneers will be forced to punt the ball back to the Eagles.

- Hurts keeps the ball and runs for a first down and then is tattooed by Lavonte David. He is flagged for unnecessary roughness, but offensive holding offsets it. First down Eagles.

- JTS is called for pass interference and the Eagles get an automatic first down.

- Buccaneers get another third down stop and the Eagles will punt.

- White finds room on second down and picks up 12 yards for a Bucs’ first down.

- Third and one and Baker is sacked for a big loss. Bucs will be forced to punt.

- Lavonte David comes away with a big tackle for loss as Gainwell loses 6 yards on the run.

- Hurts is called for intentional grounding in the end zone that results in a safety due to Anthony Nelson’s pressure. Bucs take the lead 18-9 and will receive the ball.

- Baker finds Palmer for a 56-yard TD after he breaks a tackle and takes it to the house. Bucs lead now extends to 25-9.

- Swift breaks one off for a gain of 17 yards.

- At the end of the third quarter the Buccaneers lead the Eagles 25-9.

FOURTH QUARTER:

- Hurts finds Smith for a gain of 15 yards and an Eagles’ first down.

- Hurts’ third down pass is complete to Swift but short of the first down marker. The Eagles will attempt a FG.

- Offsides on the Bucs will make it fourth and five and now the Eagles will decide to go for it.

- Carlton Davis III plays great defense on Devonta Smith and forces an incompletion. The Buccaneers will take over at their own 17 yard line.

- Baker finds Payne Durham for a gain of 18 yards and a first down.

- Baker finds Durham for another Bucs’ first down this time for a gain of 5 yards on third down.

- Mayfield finds Mike Evans for a gain of 19 yards and another Bucs’ first down.

- Rachaad White carries the ball for a gain of 8 yards and a Bucs’ first down.

- Mayfield finds Evans for a gain of 8 yards and another Bucs’ first down.

- Eagles CB Darius Slay is being carted off the field.

- Baker finds Godwin in the end zone from 23 yards out to extend the Bucs’ lead even further 32-9.

- Hurts finds Swift for a gain of 11 yards.

- Hurts is sacked by Greg Gaines for a loss of 7 yards.

- Hurts finds Swift out of the backfield for a gain of 9 yards.

- Hurts finds Goedert for a first down, but he is flagged for pass interference and is down on the play.

- Eagles go for it on fourth and long, but they are short of the line to gain and the Bucs will take over at the Philly 40 yard line.

- Edmonds runs the ball on third down, but is short. The Bucs will go for it to just run some clock as this one is well over.

- The Bucs don’t convert and the Eagles will take over at their own 34 yard line.

- Marcus Mariota has entered the game at quarterback for the Eagles.

- The Eagles run the ball out and the Buccaneers will be headed to Detroit to take on the Lions in the next round of the playoffs.
