VIDEO: Buccaneers’ Mike Evans Makes Insane One-Handed Catch From Baker Mayfield

The quarterback and wide receiver are growing as a duo throughout each week of NFL football.
In this story:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense was desperate for life as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trailed the Philadelphia Eagles 25-3 on Monday Night Football. Fortunately for them, they've got an elite receiver in Mike Evans with a capable distributor in Baker Mayfield, the former No. 1 overall pick.

The two connected on a 22-yard pass, thanks to an insane one-handed grab from Evans, who is in pursuit of a tenth consecutive season receiving for more than 1,000 yards.

This drive led to an eventual touchdown catch for Evans, as he and Mayfield have now connected in the end zone in each of their three games played together. This trimmed to Eagles lead to 25-11, a two-score game.

The run game has done nothing beneficial in this matchup, not allowing for the pass game to open up or controlling the drive itself. The Eagles' front line of defense is too good, and the only chance the Buccaneers have late in this one is the air raid and stifling defense, meaning Mayfield will need to play mistake-free football and Evans will have to be great.

It'll be interesting to see if the Buccaneers can make the proper adjustments and make this game any closer down the stretch.
