Buccaneers' Legend Tom Brady is Merging TB12, BRADY Brand With Training Brand Nobull

Former Bucs' QB Tom Brady is merging his apparel and health and nutrition brands with training brand Nobull.

Tom Brady spent the majority of his life playing football in the NFL between the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Throughout his career, Brady has also taken in other business ventures outside of football including starting a health and nutrition brand (TB12) and apparel brand (BRADY Brand).

On Monday, it was announced that the seven-time Super Bowl Champion would be merging both of those brands with the training brand Nobull - becoming the company's No. 2 shareholder in the process behind BodyArmor founder Mike Repole who bought Nobull last year.

Things will likely remain the same for the company through the merger as they embark on becoming a complete wellness company.

Following the announcement, Mike Repole spoke about the deal with Brady.

“I wanted to do something really big,” Repole said about the deal with Brady. “I think Nobull has a chance here to be this epic historic brand — playing in a space of health and wellness, through sneakers, apparel, nutrition mentality and really helping people with adversity, resilience, grit.”

The marriage looks like a pretty solid one from the onset of things as Brady has, for the most part, made great decisions of investment when it comes to his partners in business.

Per Brady,

“I think the piece that really resonates with me is our mindset and how we want to inspire others through action and through challenging them to be the best they can possibly be for themselves.

“I thought it was the best opportunity for myself and the brands that I’ve been a part of to make a difference,” Brady said.

“We found that even though we go about things a little differently, we get to the same place and we have the same core values,” he said. “Winning with others is important. Having success with others, making ourselves better versions of ourselves, pushing our teammates, challenging our teammates to be better is very important to us.“

The two will embark on a long journey together in the hopes of growing the company as a whole to become one of the largest wellness brands on the market. Despite their difference in background and success, Brady and Repole almost immediately formed a connection two years ago when they first began discussing the idea of what this could potential be.
