Buccaneers Listed As Potential Trade Suitor For Titans All-Pro Running-back

Could the Buccaneers acquire one of the top running backs in the NFL?
In this story:

The Buccaneers are coming off of an early bye week and will look to add to the win column in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. Tampa Bay has surprised the NFL after getting off to a 3-1 start. They have looked stellar in many spots but one glaring weakness is the running game.

CBS recently came out with a list of potential trade candidates and suitors. On that list was Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry. The Titans are currently in last place in the AFC South with a 2-3 record so they could be looking to move some players elsewhere.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still one of the least efficient teams when it comes to running the ball. While many would say that is because of the run blocking, adding Derrick Henry would still likely be a big boost.

Buccaneers RB Rachaad White is the team's leading rusher with 206 yards averaging 3.3 yards per carry. The team's second-leading rusher is QB Baker Mayfield with 61 yards.

If the Buccaneers added Derrick Henry, it would undoubtedly help the Buccaneers run game. In 2023, Henry has 328 rush yards averaging 3.8 yards per carry.

Although it is a fun hypothetical, it is highly unlikely the Buccaneers would trade for the all-pro RB with his contract and the Buccaneers' situation.

It is worth keeping an eye on the Buccaneers at the October 31, 4:00 p.m. ET deadline.

As Week 6 approaches, the Tampa Buccaneers will look and try to establish the run game that so far, has been one of the worst rushing attacks in the league.
