Buccaneers' Rachaad White Hit With Scary Cheap Shot at Camp, Fight Breaks Out
If we're being honest big hits are part of what fans love about the game of football and why they watch teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play on Sundays.
Even as the NFL has turned into a passing league Buccaneers fans will cheer just as loudly for a big hit on third down as they will for a big pass to the end zone.
But some hits cross the line from entertaining to unnecessary. Like the one leveled on running back Rachaad White by linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle.
Not surprisingly there was a scuffle of sorts after the hit with players having to be separated in order to continue the evening practice.

And it's one example of something occurring at Bucs training camp that isn't making coach Todd Bowles very happy.
"We addressed quite a few plays. It wasn't just that play," Bowles said. "There were quite a few plays that happened. We've got to take better care of each other. When we're live, we're live - but when we're not, we're not."

Nobody wants to dissuade players from practicing aggressively, but as Bowles said, if Buccaneers players don't care about each other's health, nobody does.
For Bouyer-Randle he's trying to make a name for himself this time of year, but that may not be the best way to do it.
Meanwhile, White's name is already known in local circles and has even gotten some love on the national level because of his potential in offensive coordinator Dave Canales' system.
"He is just so natural," Canales said of his running back. "Everything he does, the run game, the pass game, pass protection, and routes. He is really a natural with both hands catching the ball. I think he is going to be fantastic."

Former Arizona Sun Devils coach Herm Edwards told us following the 2022 NFL Draft that quarterback Tom Brady would love White in his backfield.
And while Brady is no longer here, it's clear that the former offensive coordinator grew to be fond of White, and now the new one is as well.
Seems everywhere you turn people are loving what they see in the Bucs' second-year running back, except for maybe Bouyer-Randle.
