Buccaneers' Request Interview with Rams Assistant for Offensive Coordinator Role
As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to search for their next offensive coordinator, some of the best candidates on the market continue to be scooped up by other franchises. Kellen Moore (Eagles), Zac Robinson (Falcons), and Ken Dorsey (Browns) are just a few of the candidates who are no longer available.

Still, the Buccaneers continue to search for Dave Canales' replacement.
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have requested to interview Los Angeles Rams' passing game coordinator, Jake Peetz.
Despite the fact that Sean McVay -- one of the brightest offensive minds in the game -- is just 38 years old, many of his disciples have gone on to have success with other teams. Peetz however has plenty of experience that extends beyond his time working with McVay in LA.
Peetz was the offensive coordinator at LSU in 2021. Prior to that, he has coached for a number of NFL franchises, including the Jaguars, Commanders, Raiders, and Panthers. He's got big-time college experience too, with time spent at Alabama and UCLA, prior to LSU.
With the Rams, Peetz was promoted from being an offensive assistant in 2021 to his most recent position as the passing game coordinator. Under his tutelage, Matt Stafford continued to excel as the leader of a strong passing attack for the Rams, highlighted by the breakout performance of wide receiver, Puka Nacua, who put together arguably the greatest rookie receiving season of all time.

Not only that, but Peetz has experience working closely with Buccaneers' quarterback, Baker Mayfield, who is expected to re-sign in Tampa Bay.
