Buccaneers To Set Sail On Second Annual Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fan Cruise

Tampa Bay Buccaneers players are hitting the open ocean with their fans for their second annual Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fan Cruise.

Get ready Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans! On April 4 through 8, 2024 several current Bucs players and legends will join fans for the second annual Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fan Cruise, presented by Celebrity Cruises and Cruise Planners. Last year’s event was an overwhelming success. So much so, that the team has added even more players for next year.

Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford is excited to welcome fans back for a unique experience.

"This cruise opportunity allows our fans and players to interact in a fun, festive atmosphere unlike any other."

The cruise ship will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, hitting Key West and the Bahamas on the award-winning Celebrity Silhouette. On board, passengers will enjoy the ship's amenities, such as a casino, spa, resort deck pool, shopping, live entertainment, and more than a dozen restaurants and bars. As well as meet and mingle with some of the star players from the Buccaneers team.

Players who will be returning for the cruise next year will include Tristan Wirfs, Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, and Jamel Dean.

“It was a great time,” Dean said. “I got the chance to meet a couple of our season ticket holders so they could see me as more than just a guy that plays football on the field. But really get to know me outside the football field.”

“I had a blast last year!” Wirfs said. “Getting to hang out with fans and have some beers with all the fans and everything, I’m looking forward to it again.”

“We were acting a fool on that cruise just having a good time,” Tryon-Shoyinka said. “Just enjoying the atmosphere. We went to Key West, the Bahamas, and had a couple of cool events to basically get to know the fans and let them get to know us. I had a lot of good times over there.”

Joining them this time will be Antoine Winfield Jr., Rachaad White, and Cade Otton.

“It’s going to be fun!” Winfield said. It will be a great time getting to hang out with all of the fans and some of my teammates. Buy in because we’re going to have a great time!”

“It’s always fun to be around fans and their energy!” White said. “It’s going to be fun and a good time. Let’s do it!”

In addition, Buccaneers legends Martin Gramatica, Dexter Jackson, and Derrick Brooks will be aboard the star-studded affair. The activities will include a "Behind the Scenes with the Bucs" panel, hosted by Bucs team reporter Casey Phillips, a water volleyball tournament with the players, VIP parties, and much more.
