Former Buccaneers' Quarterback Tom Brady Shares Funny Response to Potential Unretirement

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and all-time great remains keen on the fact that he's retired for good.

While it's much less a topic of discussion five weeks into the NFL season, Tom Brady, once again, shuts down a potential return to the league. The 46-year-old truthfully seems done playing and seems to be enjoying life post-retirement.

For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their fans, this pill is much, much easier to swallow after the start the team and Brady's succeeder Baker Mayfield have gotten to to begin the season. With an impressive 3-1 start, the Buccaneers and Mayfield seem to be heading in the right direction as they re-tooled post-Brady. 

For Brady, though, he now has time to juggle his many business ventures while spending good time with his family.

During the latest episode of his show, Let's Go!, Brady joked about the idea of returning to the NFL and why it can't happen. Brady was joined by popular YouTube star Mr. Best, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, who asked about faking an unretirement.

"I can't tease that. My parents would call, my kids would call. They would kill me. I wouldn't be around by tonight," Brady joked on the show. "...As I said, you're only allowed one un-retirement. And I've used it up."

So, as if it hasn't been done enough, Brady continues to shut down any idea of a return in a variety of ways, this time on his own show. Though, as mentioned, Buccaneers fans might be okay with the way things are going.

Brady's retirement has allowed for Mayfield to revitalize his career while either securing a longer stay with Tampa Bay or bridging the fanbase with entertainment as they continue to build towards a new era.

With more youth, a stifling defense, and Mayfield leading under center, the Buccaneers will continue to look to impress as a squad as they push to win the NFC South, which they did every season Brady was the starting quarterback, even with a losing record.
