The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face off against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football tonight, but one former Super Bowl-winning Buccaneer will not be pulling for his former team when he tunes into the game.
Now some may be thinking why in the world would Gronk of all people be rooting against a team that he won a Super Bowl with? The answer is easy. Gronkowski was born and raised in Amherst, New York which is approximately just 20 minutes from where the Bills play in Orchard Park, NY, and ever since his retirement from the National Football League Gronk has only hinted at a return to the NFL for one team - the Buffalo Bills.

It is also easy to see why he would root for the Bills as they are a team that has more going for them rather than the struggling Buccaneers and from the quote tweet appears that he is working with Kay Adams on their TNF bets for the gambling sportsbook FanDuel.
Gronkowski retired as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer and during his two seasons accumulated 100 catches for 1,425 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was an intricate piece of their Super Bowl run in 2020, along with quarterback Tom Brady, that saw him post six catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns in Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs.
