Mike Evans Points Out One Main Reason For Buccaneers Offensive Problems
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense once again did not perform well this past Sunday against the visiting Atlanta Falcons. The running game once again lacked any firepower, the offensive line struggled to block in the run game, and no consistency in the passing game were some of the things you could point to as why the Bucs' offense couldn't get going on their way to an eventual 16-13 loss.
However, albeit all those things above being true, it appears that the Bucs' discipline on the offensive side of the ball was a large contributing factor to things as the Bucs' were flagged a total of nine times in the ball game - eight of which came from the offense.

Following the disgusting performance, Buccaneers' wide receiver Mike Evans gave his thoughts on the issues the team had offensively, specifically pointing out the lack of discipline.
"Today, for sure, was discipline. Like one drive we had three penalties in a row, I believe. And that's hard, it's deflating. You know, second-and-20... it's hard to you know get into our stuff offensively, so we've got to be better."
Setting yourself backward and getting behind the chains is never an ideal scenario when you are trying to win a football game and it is especially deflating, like Evans said, for a team that has struggled to find many answers on that side of the ball as it is.
