Ray Lewis Lists Buccaneers' Devin White as One of His Four Top NFL Linebackers

Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis gave his top four linebackers in the league at the Pro Bowl.
In this story:

Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker and Hall of Famer Ray Lewis is one of the greatest to ever play at his position. He brought aggressiveness and a mental fortitude almost unmatched to every single game he played in and went on to win two Super Bowls over the course of his illustrious career.

Whenever Lewis speaks you know it has meaning behind it due to his pedigree and in a recent CBS Sports short while at the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, the former Miami Hurricane standout took time to list out his top four linebackers in today's NFL.

It was no shock that Lewis mentioned current Ravens LB Roquan Smith or Fred Warner and Bobby Wagner, but it was the inclusion of Buccaneers' LB Devin White that might have caught listeners by surprise.

If Lewis had included White maybe two to three years ago in his top four not many would have questioned it, but listing him as a top four linebacker in the league at this very moment is questionable at best as White's production, and even playing time, has dipped over the past two seasons - leading many to question his work ethic and passion for the game.

Lewis did however come off his pick of White by stating that it could be one of those guys down in Tampa. That would make more sense as Lavonte David has clearly outpaced the play of White and has done so over the course of his lengthy career, getting better as he ages - Benjamin Button style.
