In an interview with People magazine, Gronk highlighted the pair’s relationship as friends and what makes them click with one another.

“We both had that in our portfolio, and that's what made us work so well together, no doubt about that," Gronkowski said. "Then off the field, just our chemistry off the field with our interviews, so my last two years of football. We had the Tom Brady and Gronk Show that we did with the Buccaneers... So that was a great time to come together and show our personalities as well."

Both Brady and Gronk have admirable personalities and love to humor themselves whenever they are around. Gronk even highlighted a story about a prank he played on Brady during their time together in New England with the Patriots.

"There was April Fool's Day, and I pulled a trick on him," Gronkowski, who partnered with Bounty, recalled. "I put his hand in the water while he was sleeping, and it made him pee the bed."

Classic Gronk coming with a classic prank.

One might thing Brady would have been upset by this based off of his temperament, but according to Gronk everything was a-ok.

“He's a good sport about it," he said. "Yeah, he is. Sometimes he's not, but the majority of the time, he's a good sport about it."

Now with both players retired - for now - they will have the chance to play even more tricks on one another and continue to build their friendship off the football field.
