Sean Payton Recruiting Former Buccaneers Star to Denver Broncos
New Denver Broncos head coach, Sean Payton, is not wasting any time working to build out his new team.
On Saturday afternoon, Payton, took to his Twitter account to try and lure former Buccaneers' tight end, Rob Gronkowski, out of retirement to come and join him in Denver for the upcoming 2023 NFL season in a hilarious manner.
"Let the recruitment begin!" with an ode to Gronk by replacing the "B" in "Broncos" to spell out "Groncos" is not only humorous but also witty on top of it.

Payton and Gronk spent this last NFL season working together as part of FOX's NFL coverage and recently retired, Tom Brady, will also be working with FOX beginning in 2024 when he makes his way to the broadcast booth.
As much as Payton would love to have Gronk come out of retirement, it doesn't seem as if the latter half seems to be looking to return to the NFL anytime soon. Yes, Gronk has teased a return, but now with Brady retired for good, it seems like a stretch that Gronkowski would consider coming back another time - especially for a team that will have things to work out and is not necessarily viewed as a contender just yet.
Even so, it was a great attempt by Sean Payton to even put the idea out there and into Gronkowski's mind as we get ever so closer to free agency and the 2023 NFL Draft.
