Tampa Bay Buccaneers Currently Hold Top-10 NFL Draft Pick
With 49 seconds remaining in their most recent matchup against the Houston Texans, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers scored the go-ahead touchdown which ultimately forced the Texans to have to drive the length of the field and score a touchdown with just 46 seconds remaining and two timeouts. Normally that is a reach for most teams, but the Buccaneers' defense allowed C.J. Stroud and company to do exactly that - ending the 40-second drive with a 15-yard TD pass to Tank Dell to seal the game and hand the Bucs their 4th consecutive loss.
The loss was devastating and dropped the Buccaneers to 3-5 on the season; dropping them to third place in the NFC South.
Following the game, Tampa Bay fans couldn't decide whether they should be heartbroken and upset over another brutal loss or if they should feel happy considering that the loss would show how hot head coach Todd Bowles' seat should really be along with the potential to receive a higher pick come the 2024 NFL draft.

As for now, after suffering their 4th consecutive loss, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers find themselves with a top-10 draft pick in 2024.
As of now the only teams that sit in front of them are the Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, New York Giants, New England Patriots, Las Angeles Rams, and Green Bay Packers. A number of those teams are grouped around 2-3 wins and if the Bucs keep losing while others find ways to win games then they will only be in a better position to land one of the upper-echelon collegiate players in next year's draft.
