Tampa Bay Buccaneers Move Up In The Power Rankings After Beating The Titans
After seemingly falling apart, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got their first win in four weeks against the Titans. The Buccaneers may have played their most complete game all year with the defense not allowing a touchdown and the offense being productive throughout most of the game.
Over the past four weeks, the Bucs' power rankings have tanked and many sites had them in the mid-twenties. With a win against the Titans, the Buccaneers power rankings improved. Here are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers power rankings headed into Week 11.

After four respectable but heartbreaking losses in a row, the Bucs ended the streak and kept themselves in the NFC South race. Truthfully, losing on Sunday wouldn't have put them out of it. That's just the way the South is -- again. For all the jokes about that division, the Bucs loom as a sneaky good team to me. They're not great, and they're not a realistic title contender, but they could shock someone in the right setting. That's what the defense's performance told me against Tennessee, anyway. Tampa made a ton of plays in the backfield, stopped Derrick Henry in his tracks, held twice in the red zone and topped it all off with a late pick. Baker Mayfield felt like he was pressing in other games, but I didn't feel that in this one. When the defense plays at this level, it really seems to calm the offensive approach a bit.

They’re going to need more than a win over Tennessee to bring the fans back.

A low-scoring win over the Tennessee Titans seems like a great, grind-it-out win that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers needed. Mike Evans found the end zone, as did Rachaad White, and Baker Mayfield threw for 278 yards in the win.
The NFC South feels like a division that no one wants to win, and while the Bucs have struggled this season, they are very much in the race to win their division.

The 2023 season has been quite a roller coaster for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After wining three of four to open the season, the Bucs dropped four straight—the team's longest losing streak since 2019.
Thanks to a businesslike effort that included an efficient game from both Tampa quarterback Baker Mayfield and a Buccaneers defense that allowed just 209 yards of offense, the Bucs got back on track on Sunday. Wide receiver Mike Evans told the media that it felt good to end the skid, but he remains confident this team can go places in 2023.
"It's a lot of weight off your shoulders," Evans said. "Four in a row is tough, especially with our talent and what we believe we can do. We definitely believe we can be a contender and a playoff team."
"Good luck figuring out the Buccaneers—or any team in the NFC South, for that matter," Davenport said. "At least the Carolina Panthers have the decency to be consistently terrible. But teams like Tampa and New Orleans look like potential contenders one week and then absolute pretenders the next. Someone is going to win this dog of a division in 2023. But there isn't a team in the division that can be taken seriously in the NFC South. Not really."

They looked good on defense against Tennessee after that horrible showing against the Texans. They needed it.
