VIDEO: Buccaneers’ Devin White Intercepts Eagles' Jalen Hurts Before Halftime

Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Devin White pulls down his first interception of the season against Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Jalen Hurts.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offense has struggled in the first half of their matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. On top of that, Baker Mayfield turned the ball over for the first time of the season, throwing a first-half interception.

Fortunately for Mayfield, the defense has his back. They've let up just one touchdown and one field goal, but otherwise have remained solid against a good offense.

Buccaneers star linebacker Devin White intercepted a pass from Jalen Hurts, even, giving the offense that much more support.

The defense will have to continue and step up as the Buccaneers trail 13-3 at halftime. The Eagles offense is capable of controlling a game, and with the Buccaneers struggling to move the ball, that could be a recipe for disaster.

If the Buccaneers' defense could somehow come up with a score of their own or put the offense in elite field positioning, that would be a big help to an offense that has just 87 yards at halftime.

On top of the interception, White has six total tackles with four solo tackles. He ties Christian Izien to lead the team in total tackles.
