WATCH: Mike Evans Breaks Free for Deep Touchdown Catch Against Falcons

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers scored their first touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons as Mike Evans breaks free to get into the end zone.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are taking on the Atlanta Falcons in a matchup that could give one of the two teams a standalone lead in the NFC South. It'll be a big matchup for Baker Mayfield and the offense, who are looking to bounce back from a brutal loss a week ago against the Detroit Lions.

After a slow start to the game from the offense, the Buccaneers matched a touchdown from the Falcons, and it came from Mayfield and his connection with Mike Evans, who burned his man for a wide open touchdown.

This is a good sign from Mayfield and Evans, who spoke this past week about their connection and drops from Evans. Both players vowed to be better and Mayfield reaffirmed the media and fans of their ability to work through it and continue to improve.

For the Buccaneers, continuing to complete drives and trust the defense is the best way to go. This one feels like a game that sees the defense have a huge impact and potentially crucial takeaways.
