Cardinals Debut New White Uniforms vs Vikings
Look good. Feel good. Play good.
Fashion has evolved into an essential part of today's game in the NFL, and the Arizona Cardinals hope some of their new swag can usher in a new generation under general manager Monti Ossenfort and head coach Jonathan Gannon.
Arizona played their first two games of the preseason at home, rocking their all-red uniforms:
Today, in their preseason finale against the Minnesota Vikings, Arizona debuted their all-white look for the first time.
Despite being on the road for Week 1's contest against the Washington Commanders, the Cardinals will either be in red or black (which we've yet to see) to open the regular season as the Commanders announced they'll be wearing white for their matchup vs. Arizona thanks to the expected heat.
The Cardinals struggled with the humidity/weather in their joint practices with the Vikings.
"We had to buy in and accept the challenge with the heat, come out here and work," said WR Zach Pascal after the first practice.
"You could tell it was effecting a lot of guys, [there was] a lot of sweat. Us coming from the desert, a dry heat, coming out here in the humidity - it was good. It was good for us, honestly. We needed a little adversity, battle through some things, get mentally tough and continue to work."
