The Arizona Cardinals are just days away from their Week 2 home opener against the New York Giants, and excitement is building for fans to flock to State Farm Stadium and help protect the nest this Sunday.

Arizona isn't quite known for their strong fanbase, especially with the team in the midst of a rebuild. The Cardinals are notorious for allowing opposing team fans to infiltrate the stadium - and even in the two preseason games Arizona hosted in August - that was the case with the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Cardinals are looking to change that.

“I can’t wait. I want it to be live when we’re on defense and quiet when we’re on offense, so pass the word along," said Jonathan Gannon earlier this week.

Budda Baker says if you work - let him know. He'll try to help out.

"If you guys have a job on Sunday, let me know. Message me, fans, I'll try to get you the off day and let's have a good time. Most importantly, let's get a W."

When asked if there's been any discussion about Arizona's abysmal home record, Gannon replied with a staunch no. The Cardinals are just 4-13 at home the last two seasons.

With back-to-back dates against the Giants and Dallas Cowboys at home, Gannon hopes to establish a rhythm after beginning the season on the road.

“It was nice going through a normal start of the week or kind of middle of the week, but I think that we tweaked a couple of things going into this week. I think it’ll help our players. That’s up to me to make sure that we’re getting our guys ready to go mentally, physically, and emotionally. How you set up the day and all those things. Making sure every minute that we’re in the building we’re getting out of it what we need to get out of it, so I feel really good about this week.”

Regardless of how you get there or where you're sitting, the Cardinals want their full force of fans out on Sunday.
